Lesson 5 - Installing FsClient on FS PC
It is possible to install FsClient on your FS PC, and deploy its panel on a second monitor. This will require a pretty heavy machine and graphics card, especially if you are running FSX. You can even add a second client. But it is much easier to run just one panel per PC. You will need to add an extra IP address to the FS PC, to the same network adapter. Do this in Windows network connection properties, TCP/IP protocol. Then you assign it to the FsClient you install, by typing it into the IP box. Do not attempt to run FsXpand at the same time before the IP address is configured. Both programs will try to use the basic IP address. Edited by fsgert - 09 October 2020 at 1:54pm |
